About this course:
A project management professional(PMP) is a highly-regarded career designation certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The project management professional designation ensures standardized methodologies for all persons with the PMP designation in all parts of the world. A certified project management professional is crucial in the selection, development, execution, and completion of business projects in many different industries. One of the prerequisites for taking the exam leading to the project management professional designation include a specified number of hours of project management education which is 35 hours.   In 6 days of total of 35 hours of instruction you will be explained the 4 project management processes and the 9 knowledge areas in accordance with PMI-PMBOK and with lot of exercises and practice on similar PMP exam test questions. The course has 35 PDU’s which qualifies you to enter the exam. The course explains in details the initiation, planning, execution and control and closeout processes and also explain the knowledge areas required by the project managers. These are integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, risk management, communications management, procurement management and human resource management. The course will also explains the PMP test taking strategy and structure, and how to prepare and submit your application for PMP test date. The PMP examination is a 4 hour computer based training exam comprised of 200 multiple-choice questions. Of the 200 questions, 25 are considered pretest questions. The test questions break down by percentage in these policy areas: 1. Initiation 11% 2. Planning 23% 3. Executing 27% 4. Monitoring and Controlling 21% 5. Closing 9% 6. Professional and Social Responsibility 9%
